Because the Blue Ridge Auto Glass site focuses on safety in auto glass repair and replacement, I developed the site around a highway sign theme. Visitors to the site can relate easily to the traditional shapes and colors used in highway signs. Special notices are displayed in colors (red, yellow, and green) to influence visitors reactions to the notices.

Because some of the information provided is rather technical or required more text than the average visitor might read, I used graphics to break the text into blocks.

A Java program (written by IMap, edited by Site Schemes) illustrates important safety features over a photograph of a car (provided by Motorcities.com). Being able to tap in on these resources saved Blue Ridge Auto Glass money and time in developing this site.

After being online for more than one year, Site Schemes developed a web marketing plan and redesigned the site to highlight the advantages that Blue Ridge Auto Glass has over its competitors.

The Country Inn at High View website features a Flash header that displays photographs of the Inn's countryside and includes a custom room reservation program. SiteSchemes updates the calendar of events regularly.

The Golf Guide's home page features an interactive map. Flags are positioned on the map to indicate a golf course location. Visitors can roll their mouse over the flag to learn the name of the course and link to a page that describes details about that course. Course pages include thumbnail photos that link to enlarged course views, course statistics, directions and local area maps, and the weather.

The site also includes a travel section where golfers and non-golfers can book vacation packages. The program allows users to select a golf course and tee time for each day of their trip. After computing the cost for each golfer, the user can change their settings and book the trip online. The program sends the person booking the trip an e-mail confirmation and a contract to sign and fax to The Golf Guide, Inc.

The site for Solid Woods Unfinished Furniture focuses on creating an on-line presence that reinforces the company's established image. Unfinished wood serves as a backdrop for basic information about the store. Four different wood finishes separate the page into "rooms" of furniture. Thumbnail images link to larger images of the pieces shown on the site.
