Did you know that Internet users spend 4.5 fewer hours a week watching television than non-users? A recent UCLA study found that the average number of hours per week people spend online continues to increase, from 9.4 hours in 2000 to 9.8 hours in 2001. That compares with the 10 hours non-users say they spend watching television. Yet most users report they spend about same amount of time they always have on other activities such as the evening meal and playing sports.	The study also reveals that 72.3 percent of Americans now have online access, up from 66.9 percent in 2000.
